Research, Organize, and Save with Flying Through Your AI Assistant

A research conversation becomes more useful when you can act on the findings. Connect a compatible AI assistant to Flying to investigate products, compare evidence, and save the work you choose in your account.

Research, Organize, and Save with Flying Through Your AI Assistant

A conversation that connects research with action

Research often ends with a useful answer and another round of manual work: find the products again, copy identifiers, sort keyword ideas, and rebuild the shortlist elsewhere. Flying's assistant connection brings those stages together. A compatible assistant can use supported Flying research tools and, with the appropriate permissions, save and manage the findings you select in your existing account.

You do not need to keep the Flying web app open for the connected research tools to work. Your account still determines which features and data are available. The connection gives your assistant access to those tools; it does not replace your Flying subscription or make every feature available automatically.

From a question to work saved in Flying
Workflow illustration: research and account actions are connected, while you choose what to save.

1. Connect the account you want to use

Open the connection settings in Flying and follow the setup guide for your compatible assistant. Sign in to the correct account and review the requested permissions. Reading product research, saving favorites, changing keyword lists, and managing trademark lists are different actions, so choose the access that fits your intended workflow.

Start with the permissions you need. You can review or revoke access later in Flying settings. If you need to expand an OAuth connection's permissions, reconnect and approve the additional access through the setup flow.

2. Give the research a clear context

Name the niche, marketplace, and product instead of asking for an unspecified bestseller. The request used in our recorded camping workflow was:

Research camping T-shirts on Amazon Germany. Show a sample of relevant products and the keywords they have in common.

That captured run returned 15 products, of which 11 were identified as clearly relevant. Those counts describe that recorded sample, not the size of the German camping market. The response also distinguished historical ranking observations from verified live rankings. You can view the original captures on the AI Assistant page.

3. Follow up with a focused comparison

Once you have product identities, ask the assistant to compare a small selection. The comparison tool supports up to three products. Keep their marketplace and product type explicit so that similarly named listings are not treated as interchangeable.

Compare B097F91YYH, B08RD5R1W7, and B0C7D2ZN6N as shirts in marketplace “de”. Use their available rank history and point out differences and gaps in the data.

Look for observation dates, the length of the stored history, and missing periods as well as rank differences. A more complete history can make a product easier to assess; it does not guarantee its future performance.

4. Save the work you actually want to keep

Ask explicitly to save the selected products to favorites. Use identities returned by the research rather than a vague instruction to save “the best ones.” Favorites become part of your Flying account, and supported management actions let you organize them with tags or update your selection later.

You can also ask the assistant to organize relevant keywords into a named list. Specify the language, categories, and purpose of the list. When updating an existing list, describe what should change and what should remain, rather than asking for an unexplained replacement.

5. Extend the workflow when it helps

The same conversation can continue into trademark-record research, listing-text checks, or a CSV export of selected products. Trademark matches are records to investigate, not legal clearance. CSV export currently supports up to 50 selected products per export and returns a temporary download link.

The practical result is a research process you can continue: a defined product sample, a comparison with its limitations visible, and selected work saved in Flying. Explore the supported assistant workflows and begin with one focused request before combining several steps.

From a camping question to favorites you can revisit

Start with camping shirts on Amazon Germany, compare up to three products, and ask your connected assistant to save your chosen favorites. Keep the research and the next action in the same conversation.
