Work with the research page in front of you
When you are already using Flying, it can be useful to describe the next research step instead of repeating a sequence of controls manually. FLAI's in-app research assistance works with supported page actions and the research context available on the current page.
This experience is different from connecting an external AI assistant to Flying. Here, you are working inside the app with its research page, filters, loaded products, and selected identities. The external connection works through the tools and permissions granted to that connection.
1. Set the context before asking for help
Open a supported research page, such as Best Sellers, Seller Trends, or Real Time Research. Check the marketplace and product type, then give FLAI a specific task. A request that names Germany and T-shirts is easier to carry out correctly than one that says only “find good products.”
On this research page, find camping T-shirts for Amazon Germany. Keep the product type as shirt and show the results using the available search controls.
This is a suggested request to adapt to your current page. Available controls can differ between pages and depend on your access, so a request should not assume that every filter exists everywhere.
2. Distinguish changing controls from running a search
If you want to adjust a setting, say so directly: change the marketplace, select an available sorting option, or update a supported filter. If you want new products, explicitly ask for the search as well. This keeps your intention clear and helps preserve settings you did not ask to change.
After a search, inspect its actual status. A loading operation is not a finished result, and a failed request is not evidence that no products exist. If you want the assistant to stop or avoid another search, make that instruction explicit.
3. Investigate products that are actually loaded
Ask questions about the current results before broadening the workflow. For example, request a summary of recurring listing themes, an explanation of the available rank history, or a comparison of a supported selection.
Review the products currently loaded. Explain the main listing themes and identify gaps in the available rank history. Do not run another search.
Keep observation dates visible when discussing performance. A stored rank is dated evidence, and it should not be converted into a claim about exact sales or revenue. If results span different marketplaces, consider their context separately.
4. Ask explicitly for actions you want completed
When you decide what to keep, request the supported action using the products you have actually selected or loaded. Saving favorites, selecting products, adding to a board, or exporting should follow your request rather than happen as an unexplained side effect of analysis.
For a multi-step task, make the sequence understandable: search with the intended context, inspect the returned sample, compare selected products, and save the products you choose. A concise completion message should distinguish what succeeded from what could not be completed.
5. Choose the right Flying AI experience
| Your task | Where to begin |
|---|---|
| Work with an open research page | FLAI's supported in-app research assistance. |
| Research and manage findings through a connected assistant | The AI Assistant connection and its granted permissions. |
| Create or prepare artwork | FLAI's image-generation and image-editing tools. |
The shared Flying name does not mean every experience exposes identical actions. Begin with the page or connection that matches your immediate task, and verify the result before continuing.
Explore Flying Research for the in-app workflow, or read about using Flying through a connected AI assistant if you prefer to work from your assistant's conversation.
Let FLAI work with the products already on your screen
Open Best Sellers and ask FLAI to explain the loaded listings or adjust a supported filter. Choose when to run another search, compare products, or save a selection.
